How to Connect Domain to Web Hosting - Explained for Beginners

Dear followers, I am sure you must have understood everything that we discussed in the previous lesson about what exactly is web hosting.

I hope that now you have a domain name and web hosting space. It is very important to have an attractive domain name with the ".com" or ".in" extensions.

If you have any problems in registering a domain name or getting web hosting space, we encourage you to contact godaddy.com support or Bluehost or Hostinger customer support.

Their team is available 24 x 7 and can guide you in the best possible manner.
You can purchase your chosen domain name and web hosting from any web hosting company, such as Bluehost, Hostinger, Godaddy, Siteground, or whatever.

The linking DNS with web hosting is the same process as "Hostinger". You can connect any company's domain name servers or DNS with any web hosting by following the process below. I'm going to explain you on "Hostinger".

Congratulations! You have successfully pointed your domain name to the web host.

Now, in the coming few lessons, we’ll learn how to launch your website and register with some affiliate networks.

If you are unable to link your domain name to your website, simply contact the support team from where you bought the domain name or the web hosting space, and they will guide you.

It's very easy, and if you get confused, they will help you out and connect your domain name to your hosting space within minutes.

Now it is time to link our domain name to the web hosting space!

Once that is done, your blog or website will be live on the Internet, and then anyone can open your domain name in their browser, and they will be able to see the blog or website present on your web hosting space.

Note: Currently your web hosting space doesn’t have any websites, but we’ll anyway proceed with the linking anyway. Do not worry! It is not a so-harder process to connect your DNS with web hosting; it's very simple, but not so easy either!

Following below step-by-step is the process of linking your domain to your web hosting space:

Step 1: When you have purchased your chosen domain name, you have gotten a welcome email from the web hosting company, for example, Hostinger, Bluehost, Site Ground, or any other. Open the welcome email from your computer. That email must contain your "Domain Name Servers" or "DNS.".

Step 2: Go to your domain management panel from where you have taken the domain name, like "Godaddy.om." Many people prefer Godaddy to purchase domain names.

Step 3: At your domain management panel, look for options like: change name servers/DNS, update DNS, transfer DNS to a web host, etc. Click on the link; it will be mentioned there.

Step-4: Enter the domain name server or DNS you have got on email (from Step-1).

Step-5: After that, It may take time, wait for a few minutes or a few hours (up to 24 hours) for the DNS propagation.

Basically, it does not take too much time, yet wait till the day ends.

Dear visitors, I hope you completely understood the concepts above, and thank you very much for spending your time to learn the complete digital marketing guide, and do not forget to visit again!

See you soon again!
